Tutorial PHP 1 : Definisi PHP Dasar

Mendefinisikan variabel dalam php dilakukan dengan menambahkan tanda dollar ($) lalu menuliskan nama dari variabel tersebut. Langsung saja kita praktekan bagaimana cara membuat sebuah variabel didalam php.

Buat sebuah file php baru, anda bisa menggunakan editor apa saja untuk membuatnya seperti misalnya dari yang paling sederhana seperti notepad atau anda dapat menggunakan software khusus seperti Dreamweaver maupun Quanta dan jangan lupa anda harus sudah menginstal xampp agar dapat menjalankan file php tersebut di browser dan jangan lupa untuk selalu menyimpan file php yang dibuat tersebut didalam folder htdocs yang terdapat pada folder xampp yang diinstall.

Beri nama file php tersebut sesuka hati anda, dalam tutorial kali ini saya memberikan nama jajal.php. Setelah dibuat coba langsung kita membuat sebuah variabel dengan nama tutorial 1 seperti pada gambar dibawah ini :

Untuk menuliskan file php selalu didahului dengan menuliskan tanda dan diantara kedua tanda itulah kita mendefinisikan file php yang kita buat. Selanjutnya untuk menampilkan nilai dari variabel tersebut kita harus menuliskan “echo namavariabel”, dimana “echo” disini digunakan untuk menampilkan nilai dari variabel yang dimaksud. Untuk lebih jelasnya silahkan lihat gambar dibawah ini :

Lalu coba kita jalankan file jajal.php tersebut pada browser, disini saya menggunakan browser Mozilla Firefox untuk menjalankannya. Setelah browser terbuka langsung saja pada urlnya ketikan “http://localhost/jajal/jajal.php” (tanpa tanda petik tentunya). Maka hasilnya akan terlihat pada browser seperti gambar dibawah ini :

Mungkin anda bertanya, mengapa didalam urlnya terdapat dua buah nama jajal? Itu karena saya menyipan file jajal.php didalam folder jajal yang terdapat pada localhost, jadi otomatis untuk memanggil file jajal.php saya juga harus menyertakan nama folder dimana saya menyimpan file tersebut.
